I’ve been repairing and restoring lovely old furniture, lights, Hi-fi and occasionally vintage cars for over 25 years. I started my restoration journey in Brighton working for Antique dealers in the lanes back in the mid 1990’s. I opened my own antiques business in the famous Snoopers Paradise in Kensington Gardens and soon moved up to Camden and then Islington where I had a shop on Cross St for nearly 20 years. I always undertook restoration for clients as well as restoring all my own stock, and now that is the main aspect of my work. I do still occasionally have pieces for sale and often work with dealers to source and restore specific items for clients, so do get in touch if you are seeking something special. For most of my career I have specialised in mid 20th century design and have perfected techniques to restore modern materials where possible. However I do use traditional methods of repair and restoration on antiques and other suitable items. My experience covers the best of Scandinavian Modernism to Fine Georgian Country House pieces and all sorts of family treasures in between. I have a workshop on the Holloway Road in North London, but I often also work on site for clients across the country and abroad.
